The bet behind it is simple. A general-purpose model is wildly cost-effective at building a generator and wildly inefficient at being one. So the leverage isn't in asking a model to render my manuscript on every edit; it's in writing the renderer once and letting deterministic code do the work forever after — free, fast, and bit-for-bit reproducible. My judgement about voice, layout, and house style lives in the renderer, not in a prompt I have to re-litigate each run.
That stance shapes everything published here. The source is Markdown and a little YAML. The output is version-controlled and portable. The house style is enforced by construction rather than by willpower, which means consistency across a trilogy or a year of weekly reports comes for free. When the rule changes, it changes in one place and every artifact inherits it on the next build.
